Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows: Review & Swatches

Up until recently, my makeup as been a little unorganized and all over the place. I almost forgot that I never posted pictures and swatches of the Make Up For Ever Studio Case which features the 12 Artist Shadows.

The case is very sturdy with a compartment under the shadows to hold additional items, such as eyeliner or mascara.

The Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows come in 5 different finishes. If you're looking for a specific finish, just look at the letter in front of the shadow's number. They represent the following:
  • S = Satin
  • I = Iridescent
  • M = Matte
  • ME = Metallic
  • D = Diamond
The Make Up For Ever Studio Case, which was a limited edition item that came out for Christmas last year, features 2 Mattes, 3 Metallics, 3 Diamons, 3 Iridescents and 1 Satin, all grouped by possible looks.

The shadows are all very buttery smooth and glide on effortlessly. Only the black, M-100, gave me a little problem. While not chalky, it didn't go on as smoothly.

Outside, natural light

Inside, incandescent light to show the glitter in the Diamond shades

Make Up For Ever has some pretty amazing value sets out, specially around the holidays. If you're looking to pick something up, make sure you pick up one of their palettes. The Artist Shadows will not disappoint!

Which colours do you have your eyes on?
