Trust Fund Beauty: Nail Polish Swatch + Review

Do U Know Who My Father Is, Champagne Problems, Flirty & Dirty

I'll admit it: I have a bit of a nail polish addiction. I have over 150 polishes, some I've  purchased because of the colour, others because of the name. Regardless, nail polish just pulls a look together easily (not to be mistaken with quickly).

Recently, I was introduced to Trust Fund Beauty, and I was instantly hooked. The sassy names drew me in, the colours pleased the eyes and  the ingredients sealed the deal.

Do U Know Who My Father Is, Champagne Problems, Flirty & Dirty

Trust Fund Beauty was created with the founder (Samara)'s mother in mind. While undergoing chemo, her nails became brittle and she wanted to cover them up in some pretty and stylish colours. It was important that they contained very little toxins. After her passing, Samara combined her mother's wants with their sense of humour and release Trust Fund Beauty.

The polishes are 10-free, 100%  vegan, cruelty free, paraben free and GMO free. All of their facilities are certified, do not test on animals, do not use animal bi-products and their third party affiliates don't either. Also, "none of our production facilities is a  subsidiary of any parent company that carries out any form of animal testing."

Three polishes arrived at my doorstep: Do U Know Who My Father Is?, Champagne Problems and Flirty & Dirty. While there's no real pop of colour in this trio, they're perfect for everyday wear and look great together!

The bottle is square, which is perfect for storage efficiency and still being able to see what colour(s) you're grabbing. The brushes for Flirty & Dirty was a little wider and the brush stem was a little more oval compared to the other two. You can see the difference in the picture below.

I haven't heard back from the company yet as to why this is, but I'm hoping that the brush for Flirty & Dirty is going to be staying! The wider brush makes for easier and a more even application.

Each of the colours I received were opaque in 2 coats. For the nail art, only 1 coat was used for the dots. None of the colours gave me any problems. A top coat is definitely needed, however with or without, there has been a little shrinkage by day 2. They're still looking pretty good after 5 days. Shrinkage hasn't expanded, so it's just a little wear on the tips... and the one nail that I accidentally hit is chipping a little, but I'm the one to blame for that!

Do U Know Who My Father Is? is a girly, light pink cream (accent nail and dots)

Flirty & Dirty is a beautiful dusty rose with a little shimmer in it. I'm in love with this colour. (primary colour)

Champagne Problems is a metallic gold shimmer that reminds me of champagne fizz. There's a little wee bit of silver shimmer throughout that adds some dimension to it. (dots throughout nails)

I wanna get my hands on Boy Tears, Seriously? and Black Heart. They're calling my name. Seriously.
